The Art of Business
David is the co-author, along with Stan Davis, of The Art of Business. The book argues that businesses can tap into an artistic flow of business that parallels the more familiar economic flows. Just as artists draw on artistic resources like emotion, imagination, and experience, people in all lines of work can better satisfy their customers' economic and non-economic needs by making what they do a work of art. The book was published in February 2005 by Berrett-Koehler Publishers, and has been printed in five languages.
